Job summary

Radisson Blu Hotel, London Leicester Square in London is seeking a Head Waiter/Waitress to lead the food and beverage team. This full-time role reports to the hotel leadership and supports overall hotel guest satisfaction.

The position offers a permanent contract, 40 hours per week, and a salary of £27,988.34 gross per annum. Axiom Hospitality is the employer for this iconic hotel in central London.

Qualifications

• Passion for Hospitality industry.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the food and beverage team.
• Supervise and coach staff in a busy service environment.
• Maintain service standards during breakfast operations.
• Ensure tables are set and guests welcomed promptly.
• Take and execute guest orders accurately and promptly.
• Know the food and beverage menu well and answer questions.
• Coordinate with F&B and Kitchen teams on guest needs and dietary requirements.

Your role

You will work closely with the food and beverage leadership team in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the Hotel and the satisfaction of guests.

Responsibilities of Head Waiter/ Waitress will include but are not limited to:

• You will be required to play a vital role in leading and developing the team;
• Supervising, encouraging and developing the food and beverage team;
• To ensure all service standards are maintained throughout the breakfast operation;
• Ensuring that all tables are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times;
• Ensuring that all guests’ orders are taken and executed in a timely manner;
• Having good knowledge of the food and beverage menu;
• Responding to guests’ queries on the menu selection;
• Communicating any guests’ questions on the menu, the length of wait and product availability with the Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams, as well as any additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the teams accordingly.

The Core Skills And Experience Required To Succeed

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry;
• Previous supervisory experience in a busy environment is preferred;
