This dynamic role combines general reception duties with supervisory and leadership responsibilities, such as managing reception staff, ensuring efficient reception processes, and addressing complex client or guest inquiries. They will be the first point of contact and ensure a positive and efficient experience for visitors and Patients alike.
Key duties include:
Lead and support the reception team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.Manage the reception area, ensure its cleanliness and order, and maintain appropriate equipment and supplies.Greet visitors, handle inquiries, make reservations, and address complaints.Answer and forward phone calls, take messages, and communicate with internal and external parties.Maintain patient records, update appointment systems, and manage documentation.Address inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate to appropriate personnel when needed.Will be responsible for cash handling, processing payments, and Debt management.Join a practice you are proud to be a part ofCibyn Veterinary Clinic is a purpose-built, single-site small animal practice. Our team includes 7 first opinion vets who balance consulting and operating duties, supported and encouraged to pursue their clinical interests. We have a Medicine certificate holder, vets working towards ECC and Exotics certificates, and on-site referral ophthalmology with 3 AVP Ophthalmologists. Our nursing team consists of 8 qualified RVNs, supported by a dedicated team of ACAs and receptionists. We proudly manage our own out-of-hours work on-site.

Your shift patternYou'll work an average of 38 hours per week, scheduled across two early shifts and three late shifts between the hours of 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM
