Job summary

The Pet Vet in Greater London is opening a brand-new veterinary surgery and is seeking a Head Nurse to lead the nursing team from day one. This is your chance to shape how nursing works in a practice and to influence standards.

You will lead the nursing function within the surgery, ensuring high standards of clinical care, smooth day-to-day operations, and a positive, collaborative team environment. A full-time rota with evenings and weekends is included, with CPD support and accommodation for

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Willing to lead and develop a new nursing team.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the nursing team within the new practice.
• Ensure excellent patient care and client experience.
• Oversee nurse clinics, inpatient care and theatre standards.
• Drive utilisation of nursing skills including Schedule 3 procedures.
• Support student nurses and clinical coaching.
