Head Receptionist / Reception Team Leader (Manager) – GP Surgery, Leamington Spa

Location: GP Surgery – Leamington Spa

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Working window: 7:45am – 6:00pm

Salary: £30,000 – £31,000 per year

Additional Pay: Performance Bonus

About the Role

We are a forward-thinking, patient-focused GP Surgery in Leamington Spa seeking a confident and compassionate Head Receptionist / Reception Team Leader to join our close-knit team.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll lead by example—offering a welcoming, calm, and organised presence. You’ll guide patients to the most appropriate clinicians, supervise a small team of five, and oversee the day-to-day operation of our busy front desk.

This varied role includes managing calls, booking appointments, and handling a steady stream of administrative duties. With strong communication, computer literacy, and a professional phone manner, you’ll inspire your team to deliver an exceptional patient experience—even when the day feels hectic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the reception team across a 5-day schedule

  • Maintain smooth communication between reception and clinical teams
  • Handle administrative duties, paperwork, and incoming documentation
