The Tiger in Camberwell is part of Urban Pubs & Bars. We are seeking a Head Pizza Chef to own the pizza kitchen, lead daily operations and deliver high-quality, freshly made pizzas.

You will manage dough, prep, and stock while mentoring the kitchen team and contributing ideas to the menu. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, with opportunities to shape the pub's pizza offer across busy services.

Qualifikationen

• Strong experience with fresh pizza dough and dough handling.
• Understanding of dough preparation, fermentation, and scaling.
• Experience in busy, high-volume kitchens with pace.
• Passion for fresh, quality ingredients in pizza.
• Excellent organisation and leadership to mentor the team.
• Experience with stock, ordering and food-cost management.
• High standards of food hygiene and kitchen practices.
• Ability to train and develop junior chefs.
• Positive, hands-on approach to running a kitchen.

• Lead the pizza operation day-to-day and ensure consistency.
• Oversee dough prep, fermentation, stretching and shaping.
• Deliver consistently excellent pizzas during busy services.
• Manage prep levels, ordering and stock control.
• Train and develop kitchen team and maintain standards.
• Maintain quality, presentation and food hygiene.
• Collaborate with General Manager and wider team.
• Bring ideas to the pizza menu and innovations.
