Job summary

The Tiger, Camberwell, part of Urban Pubs & Bars, is seeking a Head Pizza Chef to own the pizza kitchen and deliver seriously good, freshly made pizzas in a lively South London pub.

You will lead and train the kitchen team, manage prep, stock, and food costs, and bring creativity to the menu while maintaining impeccable hygiene and consistency.

• Strong experience working with fresh pizza dough.
• Good understanding of dough preparation and fermentation.
• Experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen.

• Preparing and working with fresh pizza dough.
• Dough fermentation, stretching and shaping.
• Delivering consistently excellent pizzas during busy services.
• Leading, training and developing the kitchen team.
• Maintaining quality, presentation and consistency.
• Managing prep levels, ordering and stock.
• Controlling food costs and minimising wastage.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards.
• Working closely with the General Manager and wider team.
• Bringing ideas and creativity to the pizza menu.
