Job summary

LH Financial Planning Ltd, an Appointed Representative of St. James’s Place Plc, is seeking a Head Paraplanner to lead the paraplanning team. The role focuses on overseeing workflow, quality, and collaboration with the Partner and Advisers on complex cases.

You should have strong IHT and estate planning knowledge, a Level 4 Diploma PFS, and experience mentoring others. The role is based in Ashby De La Zouch and offers an opportunity to shape the function within a high-calibre Wealth Management

Qualifications

• Paraplanning experience in an IFA or Wealth Management environment; strong end-to-end handling of complex cases.

Head Paraplanner

Location: Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire (office-based)

Working as part of the team at LH Financial Planning Ltd who are an Appointed Representative of St. James’s Place Plc.

A new opportunity has arisen for a Head Paraplanner to lead the growing paraplanning team at LH Financial Planning Ltd, a highly successful Appointed Representative of St. James's Place Wealth Management Plc. The practice has experienced year on year growth since it was established in 2009. Our client bank is exceptional, and this role offers the opportunity to shape and develop a growing paraplanning function, influence how the team operates and work closely with an experienced Partner on some of the Practice's most complex and rewarding client cases.

Head Paraplanner

You will lead, manage and develop the paraplanning team, overseeing the workflow and quality of all paraplanning across the Practice, and to act as the key link between the paraplanning team and the Partner / Advisers, ensuring clients receive the best technical service. You will have significant paraplanning experience in an IFA or Wealth Management environment, along with previous experience of managing, supervising or mentoring others.

Knowledge and experience - Head Paraplanner

• Strong technical knowledge across IHT and estate planning, pensions, investments and protection, with experience of handling complex, high-net-worth cases end to end.
• Minimum Level 4 Diploma PFS qualified. Chartered Financial Planner status or working towards Chartered status would be highly advantageous.
• Experience within the St. James's Place Partnership (desirable)
• Knowledge of research systems (e.g. Analytics, Voyant etc.)
• Experience of client management systems such as Salesforce
• Experience of working with outsourced paraplanning providers (desirable)
• Demonstrates up to date knowledge of relevant regulation and legislation.

This role is office-based in Ashby De La Zouch, five days a week.
