Job summary

Burnside College is seeking a Non-Teaching Head of Year (Progress Leader) to lead a specific year group and act as the expert on the pupils within that cohort. You will be the first point of contact for attendance, behaviour, welfare and achievement, liaising with colleagues and external agencies to ensure students are supported and challenged.

• Experience leading a year group or pastoral team within a school.
• Ability to analyse attendance, behaviour and achievement data to identify priorities.
• Strong communication with learners, parents and external agencies.
• Ability to manage a large workload and stay positive under pressure.
