Hightown in Hemel Hempstead seeks a commercially minded finance leader to head treasury and business planning. You will oversee loans, capital market transactions, and liquidity, shaping a multi-decade financial plan and treasury strategy for the Executive Team and Board.

You will drive scenario modelling, stress testing, and financial resilience, while leading a small senior team and communicating complex financial matters to senior stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• A professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong treasury management technical knowledge.
• Experience negotiating complex loan and capital market documentation.
• Excellent financial analysis and financial modelling skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including managing complex financial models.
• Strong leadership skills with experience motivating and developing high-performing teams.
• Ability to communicate complex financial and treasury matters to senior stakeholders and Board members.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within the housing association sector, and treasury qualifications from relevant bodies would be advantageous.

Salary: £100,611 per annum

About The Role

This is a pivotal role within our Finance Senior Leadership Team, offering the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making across the organisation.

You will lead our treasury and business planning functions, overseeing a substantial loan portfolio, managing lender and investor relationships, ensuring effective cash and liquidity management, and leading the development of our treasury strategy. You will also take responsibility for the production and ongoing development of Hightown's 30-year financial business plan, including sensitivity analysis, stress testing and financial modelling to support informed decision-making by the Executive Team and Board.

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded finance leader who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and leadership skills.

You will hold a professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA and have significant treasury management experience, including loans and capital market transactions.
