This role offers more than senior technical responsibilities; it's an opportunity to influence policy, guide industry best practices, and lead a team that sets benchmarks in technical excellence.

Role responsibilities:

1. Set and execute the technical strategy aligned with organisational goals.
2. Lead the production of technical publications, datasheets, and expert guidance.
3. Represent the organisation at conferences, technical committees, and working groups.
4. Drive commercial growth through technical consultancy, training, and member engagement.
5. Manage and mentor a high-performing technical team, fostering an inspiring and productive culture.
6. Address complex technical issues, shaping national standards and consumer trust.
7. Possess significant experience in the glass and fenestration sector (both commercial and domestic).
8. Have proven leadership in technical or engineering roles, preferably with cross-sector or policy exposure.
9. Exhibit exceptional communication skills, from public speaking to technical writing.
10. Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and confidence to represent at senior levels (government, industry boards, etc.).
11. Experience in managing budgets and identifying revenue opportunities.
