Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic is seeking a Head of Technical Development & Quality in Tamworth, hybrid. You will shape dispense and chilled equipment strategy, leading a small team and collaborating with Carlsberg, PepsiCo, and internal teams to drive innovation and value.

You will own governance of stage-gate processes, manage CAPEX budgets and deliver a long-term vision for technical development that supports growth and customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Vision for future technical development and its business impact.
• Experience delivering NPD and managing suppliers.
• Technical knowledge of equipment and production/logistics context.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle strategy for dispense and chiller equipment.
• Develop a technical roadmap for beer and soft drinks.
• Drive competitive advantage through equipment innovation.
• Build relationships with suppliers and partners to adopt new tech.
• Govern stage-gate processes for equipment testing and deployment.
• Lead a team of engineers including H&S specialists.
• Manage CAPEX budgets for innovation with commercial value.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency and sustainability.
• Ensure safety, legal and IP compliance.
• Define a long-term vision shaping future customer solutions.
