Job summary

Aegon UK, Edinburgh, seeks a Head of Audit for Technology and Transformation on a 12-month FTC. You will lead the IT audit strategy across the business, partnering with the CTO and senior leaders to provide independent assurance on technology risk and delivery.

You will develop a high-performing team, oversee cloud, cyber, resilience audits and drive improvements with regulators and stakeholders across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in a senior audit or risk role within a large organisation.
• Proven experience advising, supporting, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management and control frameworks.
• Knowledge and experience of IT, especially cloud-based technologies, IT security and operational resilience.
• Proven people management skills to lead IT Audit teams.
• Experience supporting audit assurance on end-to-end change projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead UK Technology and Transformation audit strategy and IT audit plans.
• Partner with CTO, executive leaders and Audit Committee providing independent assurance.
• Oversee portfolio of IT, technology and change audits including cloud, security and resilience.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing IT Audit team.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators and professional bodies to drive improvements.
