Job summary

Thirteen is seeking a Head of Talent, Learning & OD to lead a strategic, organisation-wide function covering talent, recruitment, learning, OD, colleague experience and people insight. The role blends strategic workforce planning with hands-on leadership to strengthen capability and culture.

You'll work in a hybrid setup between home and the Hudson Quay office in Middlesbrough, collaborating with senior leaders to align priorities with Thirteen’s goals and values.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience leading talent, learning, OD or people services in a complex organisation.
• Proven track record delivering strategic people, culture, learning or organisational development solutions.
• Experience using data and evaluation to shape priorities and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for talent, learning, OD, colleague experience and people insight.
• Strengthen leadership capability, succession planning and career development.
• Partner with leaders to improve organisational effectiveness, governance, and change navigation.
• Drive change initiatives to deliver strong customer outcomes.
• Ensure colleague experience and development remain central to talent strategy.
• Use insights to demonstrate impact and present evidence-based recommendations.
