As part of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering their ESG agenda, with a key focus on environmental mitigation across the business.

As the Head of Sustainability, you will spearhead Haven's environmental strategy, working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving decarbonization, waste reduction, water efficiency, and green building standards. Your leadership will ensure the integration of sustainable practices across all levels of the organization, from boardroom to park operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Environmental Strategy: Develop and execute Haven's environmental strategy, focusing on carbon reduction, biodiversity net gain, sustainable development standards, and waste management.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with Haven's Executive Team, Senior Leadership, and park operations to foster a culture of sustainability and accountability.

Governance and Reporting: Establish and lead a cross-functional governance framework, transparently communicating progress against ESG goals to all stakeholders.

Training and Development: Empower teams with knowledge and tools to implement sustainable practices, ensuring compliance with all statutory environmental requirements.

Commercial Impact: Drive commercial benefits through sustainable initiatives, such as energy usage reduction and increased recycling rates.

You'll need exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and will be working with the Executive and Senior Leadership team and regularly collaborate with park leadership, facilities management and procurement to support & implement sustainability strategies.

What Haven is looking for:

Expertise in Environmental Strategies: Proven track record in developing and delivering comprehensive environmental strategies preferably within the hospitality, leisure or built environment.

Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in building strong relationships across various functions and levels, from board members to operational teams.

Leadership in a Matrix Environment: Ability to lead and influence in a matrix structure, driving results through collaboration and partnership.

Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial focus with experience in managing energy and achieving cost efficiencies.
