Job summary

Future, a global leader in specialist media, is seeking a senior analytics professional to own the analytics agenda for our multi-brand subscription business. Based in London or Bath, you’ll translate customer, marketing and financial data into clear commercial strategies that improve acquisition, retention, pricing and profitability.

You’ll work with Marketing, Finance, BI and Strategy to build commercial models in Excel or Google Sheets, analyze lifetime value and churn using SQL and BigQuery,

• Experience with subscription metrics (LTV, cohorts, retention).
• Ability to translate ambiguous commercial challenges into analytical frameworks.

You'll join a collaborative environment focused on data-led innovation, retention strategy, and recurring revenue. This position offers a unique chance to shape commercial strategy across major UK and US markets.

Reporting to the Growth Marketing Director, you'll manage the analytics agenda across our multi-brand subscription business. In this role, you'll translate customer, marketing, and financial datasets into clear commercial strategies. You'll work closely with Marketing, Finance, BI, and Strategy teams to improve acquisition, retention, pricing, and profitability.

On a daily basis, you'll explore complex datasets using SQL, BigQuery, Excel, and Google Sheets. You'll build commercial models, track customer lifetime value, and harness AI tools to enhance analytical workflows. Additionally, you'll guide and coach analysts to help build a forward-looking analytics function.

What you'll do

• You'll oversee subscription analytics across customer lifetime value, acquisition economics, churn, and pricing models.
• You'll partner with Marketing, Finance, and Strategy teams to connect customer metrics directly to revenue and profitability.
• You'll build sophisticated commercial models in Excel or Google Sheets to guide strategic decisions.
• You'll explore large datasets with SQL and BigQuery to uncover actionable growth opportunities.
• You'll mentor and coach analysts, strengthening their technical and strategic capabilities.
• You'll present accessible commercial narratives and recommendations to senior stakeholders across UK and US markets.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience turning complex customer and financial data into strategic recommendations.
• Practical understanding of subscription metrics, including customer lifetime value, cohort analysis, and retention rates.
• Ability to break down ambiguous commercial challenges into clear analytical frameworks.
• Experience communicating technical insights clearly to non-technical business partners.
• Experience guiding, coaching, or managing analysts.
• Familiarity with using AI tools to streamline analytical workflows.
• Demonstrable experience in commercial, customer, or growth analytics.
• Hands-on proficiency querying complex datasets with SQL, BigQuery, or similar technologies.
• Advanced modelling capabilities using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Track record of working with marketing, financial, or transactional data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in London or Bath.

The expected range for this role is £80,000 - £95,000

This is a hybrid role, working2 days per week from our Bath or London Office.
