THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners has been retained by a leading impact and sustainability organization committed to transforming scientific ideas into tangible products and services that address global challenges across life sciences, climate, agriculture, and public sector innovation. By fostering a highly collaborative environment and bringing together policymakers, entrepreneurs, and scientists, they aim to build a system that overcomes traditional limitations in converting research into business ideas.

The search is for an experienced professional, ideally with deep expertise in climate and clean energy technologies and platforms or sustainable agriculture, who can lead a team of strategists and project managers in developing these initiatives and programs—taking an idea from early formation through to a business case or plan and its transition into a permanent delivery structure. This role is suitable for candidates with experience in venture creation, private equity, or management consulting.

THE ROLE:

1. Lead the strategy team, overseeing both personnel and financial resources to drive program development.
2. Manage the full program development lifecycle, from ideation to structured business plans.
3. Bring together cross-functional teams, including senior scientists, AI experts, and key stakeholders, to ensure project success.
