About UsWe are a fast-moving tech startup with a global outlook and a sharp execution culture. Our CEO leads both the core business and a family office that spans product innovation, philanthropy, and international real estate development. We’re looking for a Head of Strategic Initiatives to work directly with the CEO, acting as a trusted right hand on a wide range of high-impact initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in startup environments, loves variety, moves quickly, and brings a mix of hands-on delivery, structured thinking, and executive polish.
About the RoleThis is a strategic and execution-heavy role embedded within the CEO’s office. You will help lead and deliver critical projects that cut across business units—from product launches, investor communications, and operational firefighting to new market entry, foundation work, and real estate development.
You will work directly with the CEO and collaborate closely with internal leads, the Chief of Staff, the CEO’s PA, external advisors, agencies, and stakeholders across the CEO’s portfolio.
The pace is fast, priorities shift, and context-switching is part of the day-to-day. You will need excellent judgment, resourcefulness, and the ability to manage up, down, and across.
Key Responsibilities• Strategic Execution: Lead and manage cross-functional projects with speed and precision—whether it’s launching a new product, resolving an operational bottleneck, or preparing a board presentation.
• CEO Partnership: Support the CEO directly on business-critical initiatives and sensitive matters, including investor relations, partnership development, and media preparation.
• Family Office & Ventures: Work on philanthropic projects, private investments, and real estate developments within the CEO’s broader portfolio.
• Communication & Representation: Draft sharp, high-quality external and internal communications on behalf of the CEO; coordinate with agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
• Operations & Problem Solving: Step into operational gaps when needed, triage issues, and bring clarity and structure to ambiguous challenges.
• Collaboration: Work across product, legal, operations, finance, and marketing to drive results and maintain momentum on parallel tracks.
What You Bring• Mandatory startup experience—you’ve operated in high-speed, high-stakes environments.
• 5+ years in strategic project management, operations, chief of staff, or founder support roles.
• A mix of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery—you’re equally comfortable building the plan and executing it.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust with senior leaders, stakeholders, and partners.
• Flexibility and resilience in the face of changing priorities and shifting scopes.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach—you’re a fixer, not just a doer.
• A collaborative mindset and comfort working in ambiguous environments with limited instruction.
Role Logistics• Reports directly to the CEO.
• Works closely with the CEO’s PA and Chief of Staff, as well as internal team leads and external partners.
• Flexible schedule—availability typically between 11am and 7pm BST is required due to international coordination.
• Position may involve light international travel (approx. 10-15 days/year).
What We Offer• Competitive salary and benefits.
• Deep exposure to executive decision-making and high-impact work.
• The opportunity to shape projects at the intersection of business, technology, philanthropy, and property.
• Remote/hybrid flexibility with a London base.
• An ambitious, collaborative, and fast-moving team.
