Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust in Poole is seeking an experienced leader to head Strategic Implementation, Insight & Portfolio Management, translating strategy into a prioritised, measurable programme and aligning portfolios with NHS priorities.

You will work closely with executive leaders, clinicians, operational teams and system partners to shape services and deliver lasting improvements for patients and communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the translation of the Federation's agreed strategy into a coherent, prioritised and measurable programme of implementation.
• Lead development of the Federation's Integrated Health Organisation (IHO) proposition and associated strategic, operational and financial case for change.
• Lead the Federation-wide Transformation Management Office (TMO) and portfolio management function, ensuring programmes and major initiatives remain aligned to agreed strategic priorities and intended outcomes.
• Oversee portfolio governance, gateway reviews, benefits realisation, outcome monitoring and evaluation arrangements.
• Develop and implement long-term transformation and performance strategies, ensuring alignment with the Trust’s strategic objectives, NHS priorities, and system wide plans.
• Provide leadership, direction and professional oversight to senior managers and specialist leads within the Strategic Implementation, Insight & Portfolio Management division, made up of four separate functional teams.

• Provide leadership, direction and professional oversight to senior managers and specialist leads within the Strategic Implementation, Insight & Portfolio Management division, made up of four separate functional teams.
