Job summary

Brock & Decker, a high-growth technology company operating at the intersection of AI and healthcare, seeks a Strategic Communications Lead to own the corporate narrative and external positioning. You will build and lead the communications function from the ground up, working closely with the executive team as the business accelerates its growth and external profile.

5-10+ years across strategic communications, corporate affairs, PR or brand leadership.
Experience building or significantly developing a communications function within a growing organisation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Build and lead the strategic communications function.
Develop and continuously refine the company’s corporate narrative and positioning.
Lead external communications across media, PR and digital channels.
Plan communications around fundraising, partnerships, product developments and key corporate milestones.
Translate complex scientific and technical topics into clear, compelling narratives.
Support executive, investor and board communications.
Develop communications strategies for strategic partnerships and other key stakeholders.
Build the company's external profile as it moves into its next phase of growth.
Identify and manage communications and reputational opportunities and risks.
