Job summary

Live Life Better Derbyshire is seeking an experienced public health professional to lead the Stop Smoking service. The role focuses on developing and delivering comprehensive cessation support across community settings and hospitals within Derbyshire's NHS-funded framework.

The postholder will collaborate with LLBD, public health colleagues and stakeholders to advance the tobacco control agenda and help Derbyshire reach smokefree targets by 2030.

Qualifications

• Significant public health knowledge and experience.
• Experience in managing individuals and teams.
• Ability to work with LLBD, public health and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the stop smoking service within LLBD.
• Collaborate with NHS partners and hospitals to expand pharmacotherapy options.
• Lead and develop staff to achieve smokefree Derbyshire by 2030.
