Job Description:

Our client, a contemporary sustainable casualwear brand, requires a Head of Sourcing. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s global sourcing strategy, ensuring all practices adhere to high ethical and sustainable standards.

You will have a proven background managing supplier relationships, driving responsible sourcing initiatives, and ensuring sustainable practices within every aspect of the supply chain. This is a senior leadership role within the brand, ensuring commerciality and corporate responsibility goals are aligned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a global sourcing strategy to support business objectives.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to educate, support, and ensure strategy achievement.
• Manage and develop the supply base portfolio.
• Ensure the supply base aligns with the company's vision for sustainably sourced materials, ethical standards, and production processes.
• Manage and communicate policies on sustainability, ethical trading, and green claims, ensuring compliance with relevant international law.
• Secure cost efficiencies by negotiating with suppliers and analyzing costings with existing and potential suppliers.
• Regularly report on all sourcing activities, including supplier performance, country mixes, product categories, new/exit suppliers, and margins.
• Take full responsibility for analyzing global demands and advising the brand's global offices in Hong Kong, Turkey, and India.

Candidate:

• An experienced senior leader with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a similar brand.
• An exceptional people leader.
• A commercial and strategic thinker with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Willing to travel to visit suppliers as required, including international travel.
