Job Description

Our client, a contemporary sustainable casualwear brand, requires a Head of Sourcing. In this role, you will oversee the company’s global sourcing strategy, ensuring all practices adhere to high ethical and sustainable standards.

You will have a proven background managing supplier relationships, driving responsible sourcing initiatives, and ensuring sustainable practices across the supply chain. This is a senior leadership role within the brand, aligning commerciality with corporate responsibility goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver a global sourcing strategy to support business objectives.
2. Work closely with key stakeholders to educate, support, and ensure strategy achievement.
3. Manage and develop the supply base portfolio.
4. Ensure the supply base aligns with the company's vision for sustainably sourced materials, ethical standards, and production processes.
5. Manage and communicate policies on sustainability, ethical trading, and green claims, ensuring compliance with international law.
6. Secure cost efficiencies through negotiations and cost analysis with suppliers.
7. Report regularly on sourcing activities, supplier performance, country mixes, product categories, new and exiting suppliers, and margins.
8. Analyze global demands and advise the brand’s global offices in Hong Kong, Turkey, and India.

Candidate Profile:

1. Senior leader with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a comparable brand.
2. Exceptional people leadership skills.
3. Strategic and commercial thinker with keen attention to detail.
4. Willingness to travel internationally to visit suppliers as needed.
