Job Description:

Who we are looking for

A Head of Software Product Development, who will lead the creation and evolution of our online gambling products with a focus on the Gaming vertical, including Slots, Poker, Casino and Bingo.

This is a technology focused role, with a strong emphasis on aligning software development initiatives with broader strategic Business objectives.

You will drive the full lifecycle of product development, from technical specification and design, to build, QA, deployment and iteration, whilst ensuring alignment with the Company’s long-term growth, regulatory and operational goals.

This role is instrumental in bridging design, software architecture, engineering delivery and product innovation to create world-class player experiences.

Preferred skills and experience

• Proven track record in leading product development teams in the online gambling sector.
• Good understanding of game engines, client-server architecture and gaming platforms.
• In depth knowledge and experience of 3rd party gaming providers.
• Experience with game math, Random Number Generator (RNG) integration and GLI/BMM certification processes.
• Knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies including HTML5, Swift, Kotlin, .Net and Go.
• Established in software product development, with experience in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrable ability to align technology delivery with strategic Business objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and market goals.
• Experience working closely with executive teams and contributing to company-level strategy.
• Strong project management skills and familiarity with software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with gambling regulations, including the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) and Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and responsible gaming principles.

Main Responsibilities

• Defining and executing the technical product development roadmap for the Gaming vertical.
• Ensuring all software development initiatives align with the Company’s overall Business strategy, revenue goals and market positioning.
• Collaborating with executive leadership to translate strategic objectives into scalable, achievable product plans.
• Leading and mentoring a team of Software Product Owners, Software Developers and Technical Leads, to deliver with purpose and alignment.
• Maintaining close collaboration with cross-functional teams, to ensure technical initiatives support broader commercial, compliance and operational goals.
• Coordinating with UI/UX and front-end development teams to deliver engaging, responsive and immersive user interfaces.
• Working with the Head of Platform on the end-to-end delivery process of gaming changes, from technical requirements to release.
• Ensuring compliance with gambling regulations.
• Driving a culture of technical innovation and continuous improvement, aligned with market trends and business objectives.
• Monitoring KPIs, player data, and operational metrics to guide future development priorities.
