The ideal candidate holds NEBOSH Diploma, CMIOSH or working towards, and has senior SHE leadership experience in manufacturing.

Head of SHE

Location: Coulman Street, Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire - Fully on site - no remote working Fully on site - no remote working.

Salary: up to £70,000 per annum

Head of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) is responsible for developing, implementing and leading the organisation's SHE strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant UK legislation, industry standards and customer requirements. The role provides strategic leadership to create a proactive safety culture, minimise business risk, protect employees, contractors and visitors, and ensure environmental sustainability across all farm and manufacturing operations. Working closely with the Executive Team, the Head of SHE will drive continuous improvement, champion behavioural safety and support operational excellence within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and broiler operations.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 qualification)
• Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) or working towards
• Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Management or related discipline (desirable)

Desirable Qualifications

• Environmental qualification (IEMA)
• Fire Risk Assessment qualification
• Mental Health First Aid Instructor
