Job summary

Dunelm is seeking a Self-Service Analytics Centre of Excellence Manager to lead governance, adoption and capability development across self-service analytics. You will own the standards for analytics assets, guide cross-functional teams and drive data-driven decision making.

The role combines leadership, analytics product ownership and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on training, governance and trusted data. Hybrid work and two days per week in Leicester or London support collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading BI, analytics enablement or self-service analytics capabilities in a complex organisation.
• Strong governance mindset with access control, documentation and standards.
• Ability to translate business priorities into analytics roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Experience with ThoughtSpot or comparable self-service BI platforms and setting direction for analytics assets.
• Proven coaching, mentoring and development of analysts and BI specialists.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the strategy for governed self-service analytics adoption across Dunelm, including ThoughtSpot and future capabilities.
• Create pathways for self-serve analytics, supported by training, coaching and reusable examples.
• Lead the Self-Service Analytics Centre of Excellence team to a high-performing, business-focused capability.
• Coach business colleagues to frame questions, interpret data, tell data stories and turn insight into decisions.
• Own the standards and lifecycle for self-service analytics assets and centrally managed BI products.
• Partner with Data Engineering and Data Management to improve semantic models, metadata and reusable metrics.
• Engage stakeholders to shape demand, prioritise opportunities and balance self-service with centralized BI outcomes.
• Champion governed analytics with clear standards for access, documentation and responsible use.
