Job summary

Mitie MIRAS, the specialised division of Mitie Security, is seeking a Head of Training to drive growth and maintain market-leading training quality. You will shape strategy, lead a cross-functional team, and liaise with senior stakeholders to create innovative security education offerings.

You will develop and execute scalable training solutions, monitor performance, and explore new market-entry points while ensuring compliance and excellence in delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree-educated or higher in a relevant subject area.
• Minimum 5 years at management level in security training.
• Strong relationship-building with customers and partners.
• Ability to produce risk assessments, business cases and training literature.
• Fluent English, strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and public speaking.
• Knowledge of security training trends and legislation (Martyn's Law, etc).
• Proficient with MS Office and training systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with MIRAS SLT and stakeholders to deliver innovative security training.
• Act as SME for security education, monitor legislation and market opportunities.
• Maintain industry contacts and participate in associations to keep literature current.
• Shape strategic and operational plans to improve delivery capabilities.
• Drive digitisation and workflow efficiency for scaled output.
• Oversee training P&L with Finance Partners against budgets.
• Represent thought leadership at conferences and through partnerships.
• Produce monthly financial and operational performance reports.
• Ensure compliance across the delivery model with senior leadership.
• Collaborate across MIRAS to develop converged service-lines and opportunities.
