Job summary

National Highways is recruiting a Lead SOC Manager to steer the Security Operations Centre, overseeing incident response, vulnerability management and threat intelligence across IT, OT, people and physical security. The role requires leadership of diverse teams, strong stakeholder engagement, and delivery of secure operations in a hybrid UK environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing diverse teams.
• Advanced experience managing high-impact security incidents.
• Expertise with enterprise SOC tooling and integration IT/OT.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain.
• Ability to report security posture to executives and government bodies.

Responsibilities

• Set the overall direction for the SOC and align with objectives.
• Lead daily delivery of SOC services including monitoring and response.
• Act as SME and escalation point for major incidents.
• Drive vulnerability assessments and threat intelligence activities.
• Mentor Security Analysts and coordinate with stakeholders.
