Anaplan is building a formal security architecture practice, and this role leads it. You will turn security architecture into a deliberate, reusable asset for the company: reference architectures, identity and authorisation patterns, cryptography standards, and AI guardrail designs that become the natural, low-friction path for engineering rather than a checkpoint to work around.

Anaplan is not a simple SaaS application.

Qualifications

• Track record building or leading security architecture in a SaaS or cloud-first environment.
• Credibility in identity and authorisation, cryptography, secure-by-design and threat modelling.
• Hands-on depth to challenge designs and stay technically credible.
• People-leadership: hiring, coaching, and performance decisions.
• Experience aligning architecture to enterprise and regulated environments.
• Insight into how AI changes the architecture surface: identity, authorisation, supply-chain integrity, guardrails.

Responsabilités

• Lead the security architecture practice: define architecture review processes and criteria.
• Own reusable patterns: reference architectures, identity patterns, cryptography standards, AI guardrails.
• Set security engineering principles and keep them usable for engineers.
• Review high-risk designs early to influence platform changes.
• Collaborate with platform engineering on Hyperblock/ Polaris surfaces and AI products.
• Support compliance by design across enterprise environments.
• Codify decisions into policy-as-code with enforceable guardrails.
• Build and develop the architecture team and raise the technical bar.
