Job summary

Autolus, Inc. is seeking a seasoned scientific publications and medical communications professional to design and drive the global publication strategy.

You will lead publication planning, oversee data dissemination, and align scientific narratives with product lifecycle objectives across US and UK markets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure high-quality publications and presentations while maintaining adherence to GPP and regulatory

Qualifications

• Three or more years of pharmaceutical industry experience with a focus on scientific publications or medical communications.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Good Publication Practice (GPP).
• Strong scientific knowledge of therapeutic and disease areas and familiarity with drug development.
• Experience leading medical communications across all phases of drug development.
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex clinical trial, real-world, and health economic data.
• Leadership experience in matrixed, multi-geography teams.

Responsibilities

• Map cross-functional market needs across US/UK to formulate the master Scientific Communication Platform (SCP).
• Develop and execute global publication plans aligned with clinical trial readouts and market access priorities.
• Lead publications and external communications, including journals, abstracts, and congress presentations.
• Coordinate with matrix partners to prioritise tactics within budget and resources.
• Engage stakeholders across matrix teams to ensure timely delivery of medical communications.
