Job summary

The Diocese of Sheffield Academies Trust invites applications for Head of School/Headteacher at a Doncaster primary school. You will lead curriculum development, drive school improvement, and promote a welcoming, inclusive environment in line with our faith-based ethos.

You will work with the CEO and School Improvement Team to achieve high standards and robust staffing, with potential Executive Headteacher support depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a primary school setting.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant teaching experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job description

The Diocese of Sheffield Academies Trust is seeking an inspirational and dynamic individual for the role of Head of School or Headteacher at one of our esteemed primary schools in Doncaster. As a faith-based trust committed to providing exceptional education, we are looking for a leader who shares our values and is dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. We are looking for someone who has a clear presence as a leader and who understands and can work well within a Multi Academy Trust. The Head of School/Headteacher will inspire, challenge, motivate and empower others to carry the school's vision forward.

We need someone who will lead the development of the curriculum and ensure that the key priorities for school improvement in writing and development of strong foundations are effectively achieved. The Head of School/Headteacher will be supported by our CEO and the School Improvement Team to achieve the high standards required for all aspects of the school. Depending on experience, a newly appointed Head may also be supported by an Executive Headteacher.

The Role
