This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to lead a successful retail sales department.

With a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets, and up-to-date knowledge of vehicle, consumer, and trade practice legislation, you will have experience in leading and motivating a sales team.

What does the Head of Sales role involve?

  • Delivering financial results by providing a first-class customer experience
  • Managing the departmental budget for cost control
  • Leading the sales team daily and driving dealership volume and gross profit
  • Driving enquiry conversion and F&I profitability
  • Maintaining sales process standards and showroom standards to manufacturer standards
  • Ensuring consistent customer expectations and a faultless customer experience

What does the right candidate need to succeed as Head of Sales?

  • Proven experience in a sales department within the motor industry
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed targets
  • Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle, consumer credit, and trade practice legislation
  • Valid driving license
  • Willingness to work additional and unsocial hours
  • Previous knowledge of the franchise
  • Experience managing a departmental budget and leading a team
  • Ability to motivate and coach a team
  • Satisfy GI Compliance requirements and be of good financial repute
