This full-time, senior role requires proven experience in residential conveyancing within an SRA-regulated firm and involves strategic oversight of the department without carrying a personal caseload.

You will manage resources, mentor junior colleagues, and work with the firm’s offices to coordinate travel for inter-office support.

Hegarty, one of the region’s leading law firms, are recruiting a Head of Residential Property to join our team.

In this full-time, senior level role, you’ll be managing a busy residential property department across the firm. Whilst you will not be expected to carry a caseload of your own, you must have proven experience of working in residential conveyancing in an SRA Regulated firm.

You will be joining a modern and dynamic team that fully supports each and every individual, ensuring that everyone has a great work life balance. This role is based at the Peterborough office, with regular travel to visit the conveyancing teams at our other offices.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and deliver the strategic objectives of the department. Direct and control the work and resources of the department, investing time to ensure junior members of the team can progress and develop their skillsets.

Person Specification:
