AM Global is seeking a Head of Rental to oversee the day-to-day HGV rental operations from our Huddersfield region. You will lead depot activities, maximise fleet utilisation and ensure top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily rental operations across the depot/network.
• Optimise fleet availability, utilisation and turnaround times.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance scheduling in coordination with workshop teams.
• Manage and develop a team of rental & fleet controllers, drivers and workshop staff.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and health & safety standards.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets and operational performance, implementing improvements where needed.
• Handle customer escalations and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support business growth and contract fulfilment.

The Role

Following a period of sustained growth coupled with ongoing development of the business we are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Rental to oversee the day-to-day running of our rental operations. We are looking for a proactive and experienced candidate who will add value to the business from day one. You will be responsible for maximising fleet utilisation, managing depot performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily rental operations across the depot/network

Requirements
