Job summary

Elysium Healthcare Limited in England and Wales is seeking a Group Regulatory Compliance Lead to drive our organisation-wide regulatory compliance and assurance function, ensuring services meet quality, safety and care standards.

Reporting to senior clinical leadership, you will provide expert guidance on regulatory frameworks, inspection processes and governance, lead the PCA team, and foster a culture of continuous learning across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent in health, social care, quality, governance or regulation.
• Significant regulatory compliance, quality assurance or governance experience in healthcare.
• Experience supporting inspections and regulatory improvement activities is desirable.
• Proven ability to produce balanced, evidence-based findings for senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading teams across multiple locations.
• Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation-wide regulatory compliance and assurance function.
• Provide expert guidance on regulatory frameworks, inspection processes and governance.
• Develop and oversee a risk-based assurance programme with evidence-based reviews.
• Manage the Provider Compliance Assurance (PCA) team and escalation processes.
• Ensure inspection readiness and support regulatory engagement across services.
• Identify trends from findings and develop learning resources to strengthen governance.
• Provide clear reporting to executive and governance forums on risk and improvement.
