Job summary

Bolton College seeks an exceptional leader for the Head of Quality to drive improvement across teaching, learning and assessment, ensuring consistently high learner outcomes. The role will move beyond traditional QA to evidence-based practice and collaboration with curriculum teams.

Working with the Director of Pedagogy & Assessment and senior colleagues, you will design proportionate quality systems, oversee SAR and Ofsted preparation, and help embed CPD aligned to quality priorities across the

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the College's quality strategy aligned to the strategic plan.
• Oversee the SAR process with accuracy and evidence-based evaluation.
• Design and oversee proportionate quality assurance processes.
• Lead the analysis of performance data.
• Coordinate Ofsted preparation and inspection activity.
• Support CPD aligned to quality priorities.
• Capture and analyse learner feedback to drive improvements.
