Job summary

A respected Biotech organisation in the UK is looking for a Head of Quality Assurance on a contract basis for 12 months. In this role, you will lead the QA staff and maintain the GMP-compliant Quality Management System. You will ensure readiness for audits, oversee external partners, and communicate quality risks to senior management. We’re partnering with a respected Biotech organisation in the UK seeking a consultant to become Head of Quality Assurance.

What you’ll do :

• Lead QA staff, including QP / RP roles where applicable.
• Maintain and continually improve the GMP-compliant Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure audit readiness and lead internal, supplier, and regulatory inspection activities.
• Conduct internal audits and monitor the timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee External Partners & Suppliers (supplier qualification, audits, and performance monitoring)
• Communicate quality risks and solutions to senior management.

What They’re looking for :

• Help to train new and existing staff on any updated SOPs
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proven experience in QA leadership.
• Experience managing CAPA, QMS, audits, and regulatory compliance.
