Basildon Borough Council is recruiting for a senior role in the Property Maintenance and Compliance department to lead repairs, maintenance and compliance across council housing and corporate assets.
You will shape strategy, oversee budgets and contracts, and ensure statutory compliance and safety standards, including gas, electrical, fire and building safety.
The role requires strategic leadership, financial acumen, stakeholder engagement and a track record of delivering service improvements.
The role is within the Property Maintenance and Compliance department of Basildon Borough Council (BBC) and combines strategic leadership, operational oversight, financial management and regulatory compliance.
The role is responsible for ensuring that BBC owned homes and corporate properties are safe, legally compliant, well maintained and provide value for money.
