Job description

ROLE: Head of Property

HOURS: Full time, 40hrs p/w

SALARY: up to £90,000, plus car, bonus, and benefits

BASE: Hybrid - Field Based National Role, with regular travel to Head Office (South Normanton, DE55, just off J28, M1)

We are recruiting a Head of Property to lead and develop our company-wide property, facilities, and estate acquisition and development strategies.

What Our Head of Property Does
  1. Lead, allocate, and develop resources (people, financial, assets) to meet business strategies and standards.
  2. Develop policies, plans, and approaches, and implement them effectively over the planning cycle.
  3. Monitor property and facility costs and budgets.
  4. Ensure reviews and controls are in place to deliver accommodation and services at optimal cost.
  5. Develop and implement property and facilities strategies, policies, and plans across the Group.
  6. Analyse legislative changes and market best practices, including health, safety, and environmental considerations.
  7. Ensure controls and procedures are in place and fully adopted.
  8. Analyse and present potential target locations and properties.
  9. Lead the end-to-end process of property acquisition, including identifying locations, negotiating leases, and finalising contracts.
  10. Provide advice and guidance on property and lease management.

  2. Subject Matter Expert in advising Senior Stakeholders.
  3. Experience managing estates, property opportunities, and developments.
  4. Leadership experience within business property, estates, and facilities.
  5. Strategy and policy development skills.
  6. Understanding of property acquisition legislation and practices.
  7. Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
