W Talent is retained to appoint a Production Director for a North Yorkshire-based manufacturing group, reporting to the Managing Director and leading the full production lifecycle. You will shape the production strategy, drive efficiency, manage resources and suppliers, and build a high-performing team to support sustained growth and safe delivery of projects.

The role demands senior leadership, strategic planning with hands-on delivery, and a track record of delivering on time and to quality

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in a project-led manufacturing environment.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
• Experience coordinating with Sales and other functions to align capacity with growth.
• Proven track record of driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Production Management team and wider function.
• Set and deliver the production strategy to drive efficiency and improvements.
• Oversee planning, build and timely delivery of multiple projects.
• Ensure capacity and facilities align with the commercial pipeline.
• Manage internal and external production resources including subcontractors.
• Report production performance and project delivery to the Board.
