Job summary

Wild Creations Ltd in Cardiff is seeking a Head of Production to lead and coordinate the Production function across Construction and Scenic Workshops. You will work with Design, Projects and Installation teams to turn creative concepts into deliverable production plans and ensure timely delivery with high standards of quality.

You will lead a hands-on team, balance creativity with practicality, develop ways of working, and contribute to the Senior Leadership Team to drive growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading production or fabrication in scenic build, events, theme parks or similar.
• Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods and workshop processes.
• Confident leader capable of motivating a team and delivering on deadlines.
• Experience managing budgets and resources with commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the direction and growth of the business.
• Work with Design, Projects and Installation to translate concepts into practical production plans.
• Contribute to project feasibility and establish realistic production plans including costs and timelines.
• Lead and manage the Production team across Construction and Scenic Workshops.
• Plan and coordinate activity, assign resources and monitor progress to meet milestones.
• Develop efficient ways of working while maintaining high quality and craftsmanship.
