SES Manufacturing is seeking a Head of Production to lead two Midlands facilities, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements while delivering a clear transformation programme. You will develop capability, lead through Factory Managers, and embed a Production System to achieve world-class standards across operations.

The role requires a strategic leader with strong shop-floor credibility, capable of delivering measurable improvements and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading multi-site manufacturing operations.
• Proven deployment of a Production System across multiple facilities.
• Deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience leading large-scale manufacturing transformation programmes.
• Experience implementing digital manufacturing and automation solutions.
• Strong commercial, financial and strategic planning capability.
• Experience leading through Factory Managers and senior operational leadership teams.
• Degree / Masters in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across two Midlands facilities to deliver safe, efficient, and profitable production.
• Lead Factory Managers and leadership teams to establish world-class standards and drive accountability.
• Develop and execute manufacturing strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Deploy Production System and drive Lean and Continuous Improvement across operations.
• Establish KPI frameworks for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People and Productivity.
• Drive capacity and labour planning, ensuring alignment with demand and growth.
• Lead large-scale manufacturing transformation programmes and digital automation initiatives.
• Develop business cases for CAPEX investments and manage execution from concept to value realisation.
• Embed a data-driven culture and measurable improvements in performance.
