Job Description

As the Head of Procurement, you will:

• Assess the current team capability, support development, and build a structure that will deliver high performance
• Build a strong internal network to ensure early engagement on projects, and ensure procurement is aligned with goals
• Build an agile supply chain capable of ramping up as required
• Work closely with operations and supply chain to ensure the order book is delivered
• Invest time in supplier relationships to counter the lack of capacity in global markets

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be:

• Proven operating at a leadership level (Head of Procurement) in a complex manufacturing environment
• Able to demonstrate how they have supported an operation to ramp up from zero to mass production
• Have a track record in metals procurement, including subcontract processes (castings, forging, machining, surface finishes)
• Comfortable operating at pace
• Strong awareness of the end-to-end supply chain and managing risks accordingly
