Arts Council seeks a Head of Procurement to lead public sector sourcing, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering major procurement projects up to £5m. The role drives policy, savings and sustainability, shaping how goods and services are purchased.
You will train teams, manage frameworks, and embed diversity and social value across procurement activities, working in a hybrid model from Manchester or remote arrangements as needed.
Contract: Permanent working 35 hours per week ( Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £56,561 per annum Grade B plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: Manchester (The role will be based in Manchester; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)

You will act as the organisation's go-to expert, upskilling wider teams, managing framework agreements, and embedding our core commitments to diversity, social value, and sustainability into everything we buy.
