Job summary

Aldro School, in partnership with Knight Education Ltd, invites applications for a Head of Pre-Prep and EYFS to lead the new Pre-Prep and Early Years Foundation Stage provision, with start in April/June 2027 or September 2027 (to be agreed).

The role focuses on launching and growing the provision as the first cohort begins in September 2027, with a strong emphasis on curriculum, leadership, and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Willing to undergo child protection screening, references, and enhanced DBS check.
• Experience leading a Pre-Prep/EYFS environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the launch of the Pre-Prep and EYFS provision from Sept 2027.
• Oversee curriculum development and transition from Nursery to Year 2.
• Safeguarding and welfare of children across the provision.

Knight Education is delighted to be working with Aldro School who are seeking a Head of Pre-Prep and EYFS for April or June 2027 (or September 2027, to be agreed with the successful candidate). This is an exciting and one-time opportunity to play a key role in the launch of our new Pre-Prep and Early Years Foundation Stage provision.

In September 2027, the School will welcome their first cohort of Pre-Prep pupils from Reception to Year 2. The School then plans to expand the provision to include a pre-school Nursery for children aged 3-4, creating a seamless pathway from Nursery through to Year 2.
