Aldro School in Surrey seeks a Head of Pre-Prep and EYFS to lead the new Pre-Prep and Early Years Foundation Stage provision. The role will oversee curriculum development, staffing, safeguarding, and the transition from Nursery to Year 2, ahead of the 2027 start.

Start term is Summer 2027 with a permanent contract and a salary in the £55,000–£60,000 range. Applicants will undergo safeguarding checks in line with standard school recruitment practices.

Knight Education is delighted to be working with Aldro School who are seeking a Head of Pre-Prep and EYFS for April or June 2027 (or September 2027, to be agreed with the successful candidate). This is an exciting and one-time opportunity to play a key role in the launch of our new Pre-Prep and Early Years Foundation Stage provision.

In September 2027, the School will welcome their first cohort of Pre-Prep pupils from Reception to Year 2. The School then plans to expand the provision to include a pre-school Nursery for children aged 3-4, creating a seamless pathway from Nursery through to Year 2.
