A specialist European infrastructure investment manager is seeking a Head of Portfolio Operations to oversee the operations and performance of a hydropower portfolio. This senior role requires a detail-oriented and commercially-minded individual to manage renewable energy assets.

The initial focus will be on building a performance tracking and compliance function, with opportunities to contribute strategically to market performance assumptions. The team is lean, offering full-cycle investment experience and exposure to senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset management and fund operations for hydropower projects.
• Maintain financial oversight, ensure compliance, and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Deliver reports to investors, lenders, and boards.
• Support process improvements and risk management.
• Oversee asset performance, cashflows, invoicing, and risk metrics.
• Prepare quarterly valuations and board reports.
• Coordinate debt servicing and covenant compliance with lenders.
• Manage distributions and financial filings.
• Work with auditors, advisers, utilities, and project partners.
• Lead initiatives to enhance portfolio value and efficiency.
• Supervise staff and develop asset management structures.
• Assist with transactions, refinancing, and exits.

Candidate Profile
