Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group currently seeks an experienced Plumbing & Gas professional to lead and develop our apprenticeship provision at the Slough/Langley College campus. The role is full-time and permanent, with a salary between £47,456 and £50,701 on the Support Staff pay scale, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Seasoned Plumbing & Gas professional with team leadership experience.
• Vocational qualification or degree in Plumbing, Domestic Heating & Gas.
• Recognised Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA) and teaching capability.
• Strong apprenticeship quality assurance knowledge and digital learning tools.
• Willingness to work towards Level 5 Teaching Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Apprenticeships Department's Plumbing & Gas provision.
• Oversee curriculum planning, standardisation and learner progression.
• Monitor retention and achievement across the apprenticeship programme.
• Direct quality assurance via EQA visits, IQA processes and awarding bodies liaison.
• Contribute to Self Assessment Reviews and Quality Improvement Plans.
• Train, coach and assess apprentices; conduct progress reviews and interventions.
• Engage local and national employers to align curriculum with industry needs.
