Are you a strategic leader with deep expertise in GIS and inventory platforms? A large-scale, forward-thinking utilities provider is seeking a Head of Platform to lead the strategic vision, development, and operational management of their core technology platforms. This is a critical leadership role focused on innovation, platform optimisation, and delivering digital transformation across the business.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for the end-to-end ownership of a major technology platform, aligning with the organisation's digital strategy and architectural roadmap. You’ll lead the creation and execution of the platform vision and strategy, ensuring seamless integration, optimal performance, and strong stakeholder engagement.

You will play a key role in driving value through digital innovation, overseeing platform enhancements, managing service capacity, and ensuring long-term sustainability. You’ll also lead a high-performing team and build a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end operations and lifecycle of GIS and Inventory technology platforms
• Create and execute strategic roadmaps aligned with business and digital goals
• Manage platform service levels, capacity planning, and performance improvements
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across operational and capital teams to maximise platform value

Your Profile

• Proven experience managing GIS and inventory platforms within large, complex organisations
• Experience in utilities, water, energy, or regulated infrastructure sectors is highly desirable
• Deep understanding of GIS/Inventory vendors such as IBM, Accenture, or equivalent
• Strong strategic and operational leadership, with ability to drive transformation
