Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd. head office in the UK seeks a strategic Head of Planning and Forecasting to align projects, manufacturing and resources. You will drive predictable delivery, optimize capacity and support sustainable growth.

You will lead planning and forecasting, programme management and continuous improvement initiatives, developing people and embedding data-driven decision making across the business.

Our Planning & Forecasting function is central to aligning projects, manufacturing, and resources across the Business Unit. Working closely with the Business Unit Manager and senior leadership across Commercial, Manufacturing, HSE, Quality, and Plant Assets, your focus will be on enabling predictable delivery, optimising capacity, and supporting sustainable growth.

What You'll be Doing

The role involves leading and developing planning and scheduling teams to ensure projects and operations remain efficient, accurate, and on track. It focuses on using data, forecasting, and available systems to manage demand, resources, and capacity across multiple sites, while turning insights into practical actions. You’ll work closely with Commercial, Manufacturing, Contracts, and other leaders to identify risks, resolve challenges, and improve operational performance. A key part of the role is developing people, driving continuous improvement, promoting accountability and data-driven decision-making, and creating a positive, solutions-focused culture.
