Job summary

HMRC is seeking a Head of Physical Security & Resilience within Estates to lead the security specialism across our estate. You will set strategic direction, drive performance and build the capability to safeguard staff, information and assets.

This deputy director (SCS1) role oversees TaRA, PSDS, DSHC Physical, and delivers level 2 physical security assurance, while aligning with Government Security Minimum Standards.

Responsibilities

• Threat & Risk Assurance (TaRA) process.
• Physical Security Design Standards (PSDS).
• Departmental Security Health Check (DSHC) Physical section.
• Strategic direction for physical security improvements.
• Level 2 Physical Security Assurance.
• Physical measures and perimeter measures including fencing and PID systems.
